Former Indian cricketer Siddharth Kaul has returned for his duties at State Bank of India (SBI) just after a few days of announcing his retirement from international cricket. The 34-year-old bid adieu to all formats of the game on November 28. After a few days, Kaul shared a post on his social media where he confirmed that he now works for SBI post his retirement.
Siddarth Kaul announced his retirement from international cricket through a post on social media. He wrote "The time has now come to call time on my career in India and announce my retirement.” After a few days, Kaul shared another post where he was seen going on his 9-5 duty for SBI, He shared a post with the caption, “Office Time.” In his post, he also shared the location of his SBI office which was in sector 17 road in Chandigarh.

Siddarth Kaul began his first-class career for Punjab in 2007. He was also a part of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2008, under captaincy of Virat Kohli. He was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 12 Lakh in the inaugural season of the IPL in 2008. However, he got to make his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals in 2013. He has also played with franchises like Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in his IPL career.
Siddarth Kaul made his debut for the Indian cricket team in a T20I match against Ireland in Dublin on June 29, 2018. He has played three ODIs and as many T20Is for India taking four wickets in the T20I format only. His last match for India was a T20I against Australia in Bengaluru on February 27, 2019. He last played professional cricket during the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy in November this year.
