Though the Indian bowlers managed to pick up a couple of wickets, things went from bad to worse in the 25th over. Debutant Shreyanka Patil started with two runs off three balls before Beth Mooney found a boundary. Then on the fifth delivery, Mooney cut a short-of-length ball between backward point and point where Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana collided.
Unfortunately for the spin-bowling all-rounder, she got the worst of the collision as a stretcher was brought for her as she was down on the ground for around half a minute. But Rana was able to walk out with the physio's help.
