While several celebrities including former cricketers and actors shared posters on their respective social media recently and suddenly there was a buzz around what's cooking, there now seems to be some clarity on the issue.
Although initially many fans thought that it might be a movie or a TV show named "Mega Blockbuster" in which these celebrities including India captain Rohit Sharma, former India skipper Sourav Ganguly and former spinner Harbhajan Singh might feature, Ganguly's blunder on social media ruined what was a brand's promotional campaign.
Notably, the entire suspense was built by the e-commerce website Meesho and it was accidentally revealed by the current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. A now-deleted post on Ganguly's social media has surfaced on social media in which the ex-India cricketer had mistakenly copy-pasted the entire script which was perhaps sent to him by the company.
"Please ensure that Meesho brand name or Meesho hashtag is nowhere mentioned in the September 1 post," it clearly said.

"It was fun shooting for it! The new Mega Blockbuster is releasing soon! #TrailerOut4thSept #MegaBlockbuster," Ganguly's present caption to this Instagram post now reads.
Ahead of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, Ganguly had suggested that senior batter Virat Kohli needs to score runs not only for India but also for himself amid his poor form.
"He needs to score runs not only for India but for himself. Hopefully it will be a good season for him. We all are confident that he'll come back," Ganguly had said at an event in Kolkata.
While Kohli had chipped in with a 34-ball 35 in India's first match of the tournament against Pakistan, he scored an unbeaten 59 off 44 in the match against Hong Kong hinting at a return to form. India will meet the winner of the match between Pakistan and Hong Kong in their first Super Four match on Sunday.
