The year 2022 was studded with back-to-back major tournaments. The sports fraternity had plenty to cherish throughout the year as we saw few surprise wins while some maintained their dominance at the international stage. While England became T20 champions by beating Pakistan, Lionel Messi fulfilled his long-awaited dream of winning the FIFA World Cup title for Argentina, towards the end of 2022.
