Fresh from winning the Asia Cup in the T20 format, Sri Lanka will lock horns with Namibia in the first round Group A match of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday. At the outset, the former world champions in this format look like the runaway favourites to register a win in this match as the current form also seems to suggest.
However, that is the beauty of T20 cricket as the margin for error remains minimal and a bad passage of play even by the mightiest of teams might quickly take the game away from them. While predicting a Sri Lanka win seems to be the safer option as of now, other safe options include going for no hundred in this match as it is a rare occurrence in this format.
