Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has been impressive throughout the Sri Lanka tour. The skipper herself is leading from the front and has made a valuable contribution to the team's victory. She scored 44 off 63 deliveries and picked 1 wicket in the series opener. She conceded only 12-runs in her 3 overs in the second ODI.
Indian openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana have shown tremendous form in the series as the duo remained unbeaten in the 2nd ODI and easily chased down 174 to clinch the series. Shafali scored 35 & 71 in the series, whereas, Mandhana notched up 94 in the second game. Deepti Sharma is another all-rounder in the team who is in red hot form as she picked three wickets and scored 22 off 41 deliveries in the 1st ODI, while taking two wickets in the second match.
Sri Lanka Women:
The hosts have been completely outplayed by the visitors. In both the games Sri Lankan women were bowled out by the visitors and could only manage to reach around 170. None of their batters has remained consistent with their performance as their opener Hasini Perera was out on a duck in the first game but scored a valuable 37 in 54 deliveries in the 2nd ODI.
Middle-order batter Nilakshi de Silva should be a must-pick from the hosts' side as she performed well in both games. Wicket-keeper batter Anushka Sanjeewani has done fairly well but the hosts will expect a better performance from her in the final game.
