The Legends League Cricket (LLC) has managed to create a buzz among fans and make its presence despite some of the active international players also plying their trade in various other leagues and competitions around the world. Over the matches played so far, there have been so many great moments that have reminded the cricket-loving community of the glorious active cricketing days of these stars. Whether it was Shoaib Akhtar bowling a short-pitched ball or Mohammad Kaif taking a skier, some things just don't change.

However, after the matches played so far in the competition, it is the India Maharajas side who are the last of the three teams competing which definitely wouldn't be a sight to behold for the passionate Indian fans. They have the worst net run rate (-0.503) and just one win from their 3 games.

Although they still have one match to play which could decide the fate of the Indian team in the tournament, in a big boost to the Mohammad Kaif-led side, one of the stars of their solitary win so far will rejoin the squad for the final league game on January 27. The player happens to be none other than Irfan Pathan. The team has clearly missed his services in their second and third match as they succumbed to defeat in their last two games.

In Irfan's absence in the last two matches, Kaif was forced to trust his part-time spinners to roll the arms over. However, the plan clearly failed as the Maharajas ended up losing both the games. It should be noted that Irfan not only scalped 2 wickets for 22 runs in the first match but also remained not out on 21 from 10 balls to help the Maharajas start their season off with a win over Asia Lions.

With the 37-year-old all-rounder unavailable in the next two games, it was a huge blow to the balance of the side which cost the team the match.

It should be noted that while earlier India Maharajas were supposed to play their final match on January 26, the new schedule announced by the organisers on Tuesday revealed India's last league match on January 27.
