Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has filed a trademark for “NUIT. NUIT.” slogan in the European Union and the United States of America. Notably, the 36-year-old was spotted in a “NUIT. NUIT.” hoodie after playing a decisive role in winning the gold medal for the USA against France in the men’s basketball final at the Paris Olympics 2024.
Steph Curry scored four three-pointers in the final few minutes of the gold medal match at the Accor Arena, enjoying the moment with his “Night Night” celebration. His son Canon Curry also joined in on the act after the USA defeated hosts France 98-87 in the final of the Olympic Games before he wore the “NUIT. NUIT.” hoodie backstage.
Darren Rovell of Cllct explained the filing of the new trademark from Steph Curry and said, “Steph Curry's corporation, SC30, has filed to trademark the phrase "NUIT. NUIT." which he and his team cleverly rolled out after Curry helped Team USA down France in the men's basketball gold medal game during the Paris Olympics earlier this month.”
“Curry filed to trademark the phrase in Europe on Aug. 14 and in the United States on Aug. 19. The U.S. filing says there is an intent to use the phrase on all apparel. Curry will be helped by the fact he is the first to file for the phrase and won't have to wait in line behind someone else.” he added.
Moreover, the new merchandise, which isn’t for sale yet, was created by designer Mike Fogg in collaboration with Steph Curry after the work on the concept kicked-off a month prior to the Paris Olympics 2024.
