Indus Battle Royale release date
The Indus Battle Royale is scheduled for release on October 16, 2024, for Android and iOS. The beta phase of the game attracted many players to the world of Indus. With over 12.5 million pre-registrations on Android, Indus is prepared for its launch.
On the launch announcement, Roby John, Co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming said, “With the launch of Indus, we’re not just introducing a game—we’re presenting a unique take on the battle royale genre to the world. Our vision with Indus has always been to showcase Indian Art and Culture through unique characters, weapons and stories rooted in Indian heritage while also bringing our dual win condition with Cosmium and a never done before “Grudge” feature to a popular game genre. The overwhelming support from our community during the beta phase has helped us fine-tune key aspects of Indus, and we’re excited for the world to experience Indus and see what the SuperGaming team has built”.
Alongside the release date announcement, SuperGaming released a cinematic trailer that shows combat across a dynamic battleground.
The trailer follows Adi, the leader of his squad, as he navigates the world of Virlok. His goals include collecting the rare resource Cosmium and settling a score with his rival, Pokhran. Viewers can see Adi’s development from a novice to a skilled fighter, leading up to a confrontation with Pokhran.
Indus features a dual victory condition, allowing players to win by either being the last person standing or by collecting Cosmium, which appears in the last circle of Nirvana. This adds another layer to traditional gameplay. The trailer also highlights the Cosmium collection dynamics and the Grudge feature, which lets players track and confront those who have defeated them.
