Afridi, who is a part of the Toronto Nationals in Global T20 Canada, rolled back some years with his power hitting in the ongoing edition of the tournament. 46-year-old Afridi scored 23 runs off just 12 balls in a game against Vancouver Knights on Friday, July 21. In his short stay on the pitch, the former Pakistan all-rounder smashed two brilliant sixes, taking his fans on a nostalgia trip.
On the other hand, Hafeez, who is fondly called ‘professor’, is participating in the inaugural season of Zim Afro T10 League in Zimbabwe. The 42-year-old former cricketer made the most of the two overs allotted to him and took six wickets, breaking all the T10 records, on the opening day of the tournament.
