Notably, the Nagpur-born cricketer made his debut in June 2007 in an ODI and was a part of India’s T20 World Cup winning squad, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was the leading run-scorer in the 2019 edition of the World Cup with 648 runs and has scored 550 runs in the 2023 season.
