India have shattered all records with their disastrous batting in the third and final T20I against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on October 12. The Men in Blue went on to smash the second highest T20I total of all time, and the highest T20I score by a Test playing nation. India posted a mammoth 297/6 on board in their 20 overs, with just three runs short of achieving the milestone of 300 runs in the 20-over format.
There have been several occasions where the teams have posted a huge total in the T20I format and etched their name in the record books of international cricket. 10. India - 260/5 against Sri Lanka in 2017
India went on to post a mammoth 260/5 against Sri Lanka in Indore on December 22, 2017. Batting first, skipper Rohit Sharma went on to smash the fastest T20I hundred for India (35 balls). The right-hander scored 118(43) runs, while KL Rahul played a knock of 89(49) runs, as India posted their highest T20I total at that time. The Men in Blue won the match comfortably by 88 runs.
