Earlier Ngannou was in conversation with TMZ, stating, “I think getting some advice or some training from Mike Tyson would be good. I also think of somebody like Lennox Lewis who could be good. I love his boxing style, very basic but very sharp and efficient. One-two [punches], all that stuff, classic but very good. Yes, one of those guys. We are definitely reaching out."
Notably, Tyson, who is known as ‘Iron’ among fans became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at the age of 20. On the other hand, the Cameroonian fighter left Dana White’s MMA league earlier this year to pursue boxing and is expected to return to MMA with the PFL in 2024.
