The Hundred, a distinctive franchise tournament played exclusively in England, will begin its third season in August. The regulations and format of the women's tournament will be as per the last edition, with eight teams participating from eight cities.

Richa Ghosh, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Smriti Mandhana, who play for the London Spirit, Trent Rockets, Southern Brave respectively, are among the Indian players who are part of the 2023 edition of the competition. Oval Invincibles, captained by Dane van Niekerk, are the most successful team in the league, having won the 2021 and 2022 championships. In both of those years, they defeated Southern Brave in the final.
The Hundred Women’s tournament will take place at eight different iconic stadiums spread across England. Beginning on August 1 and running through August 27, The Hundred Women's is expected to have its grand final at Lords.

In the 27-day long tournament, each team will play four home games and four away games. This entails playing once against each of the other teams in the tournament and then an additional game against their closest regional rivals.
The top three teams will participate in the knockout stage to determine the overall champions when the league stage is through. At The Oval in London, the second and third teams will play in a semi-final. The team that won the league will face the semi-final winner in the championship game at Lord's.
