Talking about Chelsea’s upcoming game against Leeds, the Blues have suffered a major blow as midfielder N’Golo Kante is set to miss the next few weeks due to a hamstring injury which he suffered during the game against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, manager Thomas Tuchel said on Friday.
Kante went to the ground with a problem in the 2-2 draw against the Spurs before being subbed out. The German manager was not optimistic about the former Premier League winner’s availability in the coming days. "We’re talking about weeks, which is not good news. We’re disappointed and sad because N’Golo was super fit," Tuchel said before Sunday’s match at Ellan Road against Leeds United.
Tuchel added that Armando Broja, Christian Pulisic and Mateo Kovacic are also missing the Leeds fixture due to injury concerns. Tuchel said, "Armando is out for some days. He cannot come with us to Leeds. Mateo Kovacic is still out with knee problems. Christian Pulisic had Achilles problems but trained today. Let’s see."
