Faf du Plessis
South African batter Faf du Plessis is expected to be one of the most wanted players in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. The 40-year-old, released by RCB, led the team as captain for the last three seasons. Faf has a strong history with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He played for the team from 2012 to 2015 and again from 2018 to 2021. During this time, he appeared in 92 matches and scored 2,721 runs. Faf played a key role in helping CSK win two IPL trophies in 2018 and 2021. His opening partnership with Ruturaj Gaikwad was very successful for the team, so there is a high chance that Faf might wear the yellow jersey again.
