Martin Guptill recorded the highest-ever score in ODI World Cup history as he smashed 237 runs from 163 balls and helped his side to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament. Notably, it was second double century in that World Cup tournament itself and Guptill remains to be the only New Zealand batsman to have smashed a double hundred in ODIs overall.
