Hardik Pandya pulled off one of the most memorable and extraordinary catches of the match when he sprinted 25 metres from deep midwicket to dismiss Bangladesh’s Rishad Hossein. During the over of Varun Chakaravarthy’s over, Rishad, batting on nine, aimed for a boundary. However, Hardik Pandya’s athleticism and quick response allowed him to cover the ground and he dived horizontally to secure the catch.
What left everyone impressed was how he made a few quick adjustments to avoid touching the boundary ropes. Needless to say, the catch left everyone, including Pandya himself, stunned, and the Delhi crowd erupted into cheers.
