New Zealand’s top website Stuff.co.nz has requested their readers to send in solutions to tackle England. The website asked fans to write between 400-800 words about any possible tactic or strategy which the BlackCaps could employ in the second Test at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.

Going back to the game, England started off strong before announcing a surprise declaration on Day 1 after posting 325. Then New Zealand fought hard but only managed to score 306 runs on the back of a brilliant 138-run knock by Tom Blundell. Here in the second innings, the English team unleashed and put on a massive total of 374 runs setting up a record chase for the hosts.
Four England batters scored half-centuries, while Ollie Pope was dismissed on 49, helping the visitors post this huge score. Unlike the first innings, the hosts could not stop the magical duo of Stuart Broad and James Anderson, who ran through the batting lineup and picked up a combined eight wickets.
