The NFL superstar, Travis Kelce, was spotted comforting a female fan after he accidentally hit her with a golf ball at the 35th Annual American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe. It was a wayward shot from the Kansas City Chiefs TE, which struck a young girl in the audience on the back of the head, leaving her bloodied.
The accident happened when the boyfriend of Taylor Swift was playing on the 16th hole at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. As per the report from PEOPLE, an eyewitness spoke about streaks of blood being visible in the blonde hair of the female fan.
When the young girl was receiving treatment from the paramedics, Travis Kelce went up to comfort her, according to the Daily Mail. Furthermore, while Kelce and the fan were standing nearby, another bad shot flew past them, which led to an audible reaction from both.
Following another bad shot flew past, the security shielded the female fan away from getting crowded while Travis Kelce stayed put. Before leaving the scene, the three-time Super Bowl champion was heard saying, “I'm gonna say, you guys should probably move out the way.”
Meanwhile, the brother of Travis Kelce, who is also his rival at the celebrity golf tournament, also came around to check on the injured young girl. When she was asked about what caused the accident, the female fan was unsure about which of the two Kelce brothers struck her head with a golf ball.
