Amid the all the excitement for the inaugural season of the United Arab Emirates' International League T20, Manchester United owners Glazers Family-backed franchise have named their team the Desert Vipers. On Friday, the Desert Vipers also announced a 13-member squad before the first season of the competition.
The team has some big names including England batter Alex Hales, Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, English wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings and West Indies bowler Sheldon Cottrell. In addition, all-rounder Tom Curran, batter Ben Duckett have also been named in the squad released by the team on social media.
Meanwhile, former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody and former England wicketkeeper batter James Foster have been named as the Director of Cricket and head coach of the franchise, respectively.

We have assembled an excellent mix of youth and experience in a highly skilled squad and I warmly welcome our players from all over the world in what is truly an international event," said Tom Moody in a statement in an official release.
Meanwhile, head coach Foster said: "Working with such a quality group of players is hugely exciting and I cannot wait to get started with Desert Vipers. This tournament will contain a lot of competitive and entertaining cricket and I look forward to our squad playing a full role in that."
