The football 2023-24 season has begun in Europe, and the UCL season is just around the corner as the UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Draw is slated to take place on Thursday, August 31 in Monaco. Last season saw Manchester City make history as they won their first UCL title, also winning the treble in the process.

Based on how well their clubs performed in their respective domestic leagues, the 32 teams that qualified for the group stage will be divided into four groups of eight teams each. Pot 1 will contain the champions and runners-up from the previous Champions League season, including Sevilla, the Europa League champion.
UEFA's club coefficient rankings' next eight highest-ranked teams will be in pot 2. The remainder of the teams will be placed in Pots 3 and 4 based on the UEFA club coefficient rankings. The 2022/23 UEFA Men's Player of the Year, UEFA Women's Player of the Year, UEFA Men's Coach of the Year, and UEFA Women's Coach of the Year awards will also be presented during the group stage draw ceremony.
