After 11 countries announced their squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, Uganda Cricket Association is the latest the name their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, set to be played in June in the Caribbean and the United States of America (USA). The Uganda cricket team will make its maiden appearance in the T20 World Cup 2024, after they stunned Rwanda by nine wickets to ensure a top two finish in Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier.

The side will be led by Brian Masaba, with Riazat Ali Shah shouldering the deputy role in the T20 World Cup 2024. Moreover, 43-year-old Frank Nsubuga is also named in the side and will become one of the oldest players in the tournament. Apart from these, some notable all-rounders to have found a place in the 15-man squad are Ramjani and Henry Ssenyondo.

The Brian Masaba-led side are placed in Group C for the T20 World Cup 2024, alongside co-hosts West Indies, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Afghanistan. The Cricket Cranes will begin their campaign against Afghanistan in Guyana on June 3.
