The batting lineup of the Noida Super Kings struggled big time in their previous match against Kashi Rudras, but Bhuvneshwar Kumar played an enterprising innings of 39 runs in 23 balls to give their score some respectability. The star Indian cricketer contributed with three wickets to the bowling innings of Super Kings, who was ably supported by Prashant Veer with his three wicket-haul, yet they were unable to defend the small total of 112 runs in the final over of the innings.
Meanwhile, at one stage in the same match, Kashi Rudras were looking down and out, but the captain Prince Yadav (46* off 33) along with Shashank Awasthi (18 off 8) stitched together a 54-run stand for the ninth wicket to help their side achieve an unlikely win.
