VCT Ascension Pacific 2024 is the final tournament of the VALORANT Challengers year , which kicked off on September 20. The tournament features 10 teams from the regional Challenger leagues. The teams are competing in a double elimination bracket for a massive $100,000 prize pool and a coveted spot in VCT Pacific 2025. What is the format of VCT Ascension Pacific 2024?
A total of 10 teams are competing in a double-elimination bracket. All matches are played in Best of 3, except the Lower Final and Grand Final, which will be played in Best of 5 format. Teams are seeded based on their region's performance at Ascension 2023. Teams from Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong & Taiwan, and South Asia will compete in the first round of the Upper Bracket, while teams from Malaysia & Singapore, and Japan, who finished in the top two, will face the winners in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.
