As the Rohit Sharma-led Team India take on England in the five-match Test series, Virat Kohli is one of the big names who has missed the entire Test series, citing personal reasons. However, there were news circulating around Virat and Anushka becoming parents, it was finally put to rest after he announced the birth of his second child, a son, who has been named Akaay on Tuesday, February 20.
However, the 36-year-old has since then been trending on social media, his first picture after this announcement has gone viral. Virat Kohli can be seen wearing a long bomber jacket, white track pants and a cap as he walks on the streets of London. However, it must be noted that there is currently no information around the couple.
Earlier there were reports that the Indian cricketer and his wife, Bollywood celebrity Anushka Sharma will welcome their second child in the UK. The couple however did not make any statement around this, leaving everything surrounding Akaay’s birth a secretive affair.
But on Tuesday, the couple, who have a three-year-old daughter named Vamika, confirmed the birth of Akaay, who was born on February 15. Virat Kohli took to social media to share this news, writing, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world.”
They also urged to requested to respect their privacy at this time. The post has been garnering wishes from all across, including personalities from Bollywood as well as cricketing arena.
