An official from the Board for Control of Cricket in India shared an update on Indian batter Vira t Kohli's possible return to Test side for the series against England. India's number four withdrew from the first two Tests of the five-match England series citing personal reasons. Since then several reports about Kohli continuing his leave and missing the upcoming two Tests have surfaced.

The series so far has presented some incredible cricketing action with England winning the first fixture in Hyderabad in stunning fashion. Then the hosts came back in the second Test with clinical performance to level the series ahead of the third Test in Rajkot.
Whenever he decides to play: BCCI official on Kohli's return
Talking about Virat Kohli's absence, a BCCI official, as per Indian Express, stated, “Virat will decide when he wants to make a comeback to the Indian side. He hasn’t informed us till now but whenever he decides to play, he will be included in the team.”
His second child is on the way: ABD on Kohli's absence
Giving an insight into the former Indian captain's absence, former teammate and South African legend AB de Villiers revealed that Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood star, Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child. Speaking on his YouTube channel, D e Villiers, “All I know is he is fine. He is spending a bit of time with his family, that is the reason he is missing the first two Test matches. I am not going to confirm anything else.
"I cannot wait to see him back. He is fine, he is doing well. Yes, his second child is on the way. It’s family time and things are important to him… I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that. He has made absolutely the right decision.”
