Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh gets involved in a war of words with a social media user on X. Harbhajan is an essential part of the commentary panel in ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 for India matches. Singh, who is known for his outspoken behaviour, shared an image on social media with famous sports journalists Vikrant Gupta and Nikhil Naz and all three were seen in a cheerful mood outside a hotel in Dubai. The photo with a caption read, “Jeet Ka Jashn” as they were seen celebrating India’s six-wicket win over Pakistan at the Dubai international Stadium on February 23.
Harbhajan’s post received a bitter comment from a user as he wrote, “Hindi commentary on Star Sports can rank among the most cringiest things on this beautiful blue planet." The comment rankled the former India off-spinner as he gave it back to the user, writing, “Wah Angrez ki aulaad. Shame on you. Apni bhasha bolne aur sun ke fakr mehsoos hona chahiye.”
Harbhajan’s reply became a highlight as the 44-year-old’s fans were seen supporting him while a few felt the user possessed the right views about Hindi commentary. Defending the X user’s comment, another social media user remarked, “He is talking about the quality of commentators doing Hindi commentary, not the Hindi language. There’s a big difference."
