Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is set to miss the initial stage of IPL 2024 for Sunrisers Hyderabad after he was named in the Test squad for the two-match series against Bangladesh. The island nation is set to lock horns with Bangladesh in a two-match Test series to complete their tour, starting March 22.

With his inclusion in the Test team, the 26-year-old Sri Lanka cricketer is set to miss the initial stage of IPL 2024 for his franchise.
