Chennai Super Kings veteran Ajinkya Rahane held on a magical catch to dismiss a dangerous Da vid Miller as Gujarat Titans were chasing the massive 207-run target. After winning the toss and asking CSK to bat first, the Yellow Army fired all cylinders and took the GT bowling apart with Rachin Ravindra and Shivam Dube scoring crucial knocks with strike rates of over 200.
Then in the second innings, Gujarat was once again pushed on the back foot as CSK were on the money as they picked quick wickets. With GT struggling at 55-3, David Miller walked and stitched a valuable partnership with Sai Sudharshan as the 2022 champions crawled forward.

But in the 12th over, Miller tried to dig out a full-length delivery by Tushar Deshpande. In the process, the South African managed to flick the ball towards deep-mid wicket, where a charging Ajinkya Rahane put in an athletic dive to complete a sensational catch.

A few overs before Rahane's stellar catch, former CSK skipper MS Dhoni turned back the time as he completed an incredible diving catch to dismiss Vijay Shankar. Daryl Mitchell bowled a slower one and Dhoni, who has been brisk with his actions, attempted a fine dive towards his right, completing a brilliant catch in the air.
