A man Sehrawat was presented with a grand welcome as he returned to India afte r a triumphant campaign at the Paris Olympics 2024. Sehrawat defeated Darian Toi Cruz 13-5 in the bronze medal match at the Champ de Mars Arena. With his victory over the Puerto Rican, Sehrawat became India's youngest-ever individual Olympic medallist at 21 years 0 months and 24 days.
He broke PV Sindhu's record, who was 21 years 1 month and 14 days old when she won silver at the Rio Olympics 2016. Celebrating this feat and his medal, Aman Sehrawat received a hearty welcome as he was serenaded with countless garlands and mobbed by his supporters and well-wishers.

In a meeting held at the Northern Railway Headquarters, General Manager Shobhan Chaudhuri presented a token of appreciation to Aman Sehrawat for winning the bronze medal. Chief Public Relations Officer Himanshu S Upadhyay said, "On this occasion, Shri Sujit Kumar Mishra, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Northern Railway promoted Shri Aman Sehrawat for his Olympic medal win and appointed him as OSD/Sports."
"Shri Aman Sehrawat, an Indian freestyle wrestler, brought immense pride and glory to the nation by winning a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. His dedication, hard work, and perseverance have been an inspiration to millions," he added.
