Ana Markovic, 24, heralded as one of the world’s most beautiful footballers, has confirmed that she will meet her idol Cristiano Ronaldo very soon. The Croatian national women’s team player couldn’t hold her excitement while she made the announcement of her upcoming interaction with the Portuguese footballing legend on her official Instagram account.

Since her professional career began in 2020, Ana Markovic has played club football for Grasshopper in the Swiss Women’s League, scoring 17 goals in 71 appearances in all competitions. After making her debut for Croatia in 2021, she has been handed 11 international caps, scoring one goal in the process against Moldova.
In her viral video on X, which has been taken from her official Instagram account, Ana Markovic said, “Exciting news, I will meet Cristiano Ronaldo, Oh! My god. I am so excited. I cannot explain you how much excited I am. Everyone who knows me since I am a little girl, I am just watching YouTube videos of Cristiano Ronaldo. Like the way he plays and also his lifestyle. I am super super happy to do this.”

“I can still not believe that I am gonna play football with Cristiano Ronaldo,” she added. Notably, Ana Markovic is a fan of Chelsea, while her all-time favourite player from the West London club is Frank Lampard.
