The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was bombarded with questions by a news reporter as soon as he landed at the Delhi airport. The reporter kept asking him questions incessantly which led the MP to lose his cool in an angry incident.
As the disgraced WFI Chief was heading to his car at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, a Times Now reporter started following him and asked questions about his involvement in the sexual harassment case for which wrestlers have been protesting for a couple of months.
The reporter asked him when he will be resigning from his position, to which he replied angrily “Kyu de hum istifa? Kis baat ka istifa mang rahi hai aap? Chup!” which translates to “Why should I resign? What have I done to resign? Shut up!”
The lady reporter continued to follow him and asked his opinion about the six sexual assault allegations against him. The politician continued to walk towards his car and refused to answer her queries further. As he got seated in the car, the reporter pushed her mic through the gap in the door. Knowing this, the accused WFI chief deliberately shut the door which resulted in the breaking of the mic.
