India was hit with a massive injury blow as Ravindra Jadeja suffered a right knee injury and hence he just played the first two games of the Asia Cup 2022 against Pakistan and Hong Kong. For the Indian team, Jadeja's injury has taken place at a crucial time as he was an important part of the T20 World Cup plans.
Left-arm pacer Chetan Sakariya wished Jadeja a speedy recovery in a unique way. Sakariya posted a video where he recreated Jadeja's famous 'sword celebration' that he does after reaching a milestone while batting.
He tweeted, "In case you are missing jaddubhai @imjadeja Here's wishing him a speedy recovery."
The allrounder underwent knee surgery last week and posted a photo on Instagram where he revealed that the surgery was successful. "The surgery was successful. There are many people to thank for their support and involvement - BCCI, my teammates, support staff, physios, doctors and the fans. I will start my rehab soon and try to get back to cricket soon as I can. Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes," Jadeja wrote on Instagram.
