Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo dropped a bombshell interview where slammed his team Manchester United, the club executives and even manager Erik Ten Hag. The footballing world has been divided after this explosive interview and the Red Devils, who have been improving after a horrendous start, will be facing the brunt of it. 


The after-effects of this interview are already in the current Man United players. In a recent viral video, Portugal and Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was seen having an awkward meeting with CR7 as the pair met for the national team camp ahead of the World Cup. Both players shook hands but Bruno had a cold look on his face.

In the interview, Ronaldo blasted Manchester United for their poor training facilities and claimed that the condition was exactly the same as when he left in 2009. He also stated that he doesn’t respect the new Red Devils manager Erik Ten Hag as he doesn’t respect him back. In reaction to this interview, Man United have released a statement where they maintain focus on the break and the second half of the season. 


“Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo,” said the Premier League club. “The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established. Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff and fans.”
