After losing their four back-to-back NBA regular season games, LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers returned to the winning ways as they registered two consecutive home wins in the 2023-24 season. On Tuesday night, the Lakers defeated the Raptors by one point to improve their season record to 19-19. During the game, Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell and Raptors new signing RJ Barrett exchanged words after LA's defense-to-offense play.
With around two minutes remaining in the third quarter, D'Angelo Russell held his ground in the post against RJ Barrett to force a turnover and took it full court off the court to flush a layup. After his bucket, Russell went up to Barrett and the two appeared to exchange words.
