On Saturday, June 1, Donald Trump, the former US President, showed up at the Prudential Center in Newark to a huge fan reception during the UFC 302 pay-per-view. Just days after the 77-year-old was found guilty in a hush money trial, he was seen walking inside the arena alongside the UFC President, Dana White, before greeting Joe Rogan at ringside.
When Donald Trump was making his presence felt at UFC 302, Jon Anik, the commentary partner of Joe Rogan, spoke on the live broadcast about how the former US President is “a rabid mixed martial arts fan.” A couple of years ago, Dana White called Donald Trump “one of the most stand-up, solid dudes that I have ever met in my life. If he gives you his word, done.”

In the co-main event, Sean Strickland got the better of Paulo Costa by a split decision in the UFC middleweight division, to get a step closer to recapturing the championship.
