After losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors received a second chance to beat the Wolves on Tuesday night in the 2023 NBA In-Season Tournament. However, the match was marred by multiple ejections in the opening two minutes into the match that involved a heated altercation between the star players from both teams, including Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Rudy Gobert, and Jaden McDaniels.
Multiple ejections took place in the starting two minutes of the Warriors versus Timberwolves game at the Chase Center following a pulling and shoving between the Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson and the Wolves forward Jaden McDaniels. Klay even had his shirt torn during the brawl with McDaniels.
The Wolves center Rudy Gobert rushed to separate Klay and McDaniels and tried to pull back the Warriors guard. However, Draymond Green had a different mindset and grabbed the 7-foot-1 Gobert in a headlock. The Warriors' big man violently dragged Gobert while putting him in a chokehold as other players like Karl-Anthony Towns were seen separating the two centers.

However, many believed that Green could face a suspension in the coming days. Talking about the game, the Warriors led the Wolves 59-54 at half-time, however, the Timberwolves went on to beat the Warriors 101-104 in consecutive games and solidified their top spot in the West Group C with two wins in two matches while the Warriors are placed third with a win and a loss.
