Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga got hit in the face with a stray shot during training. The video was uploaded to Twitter and fans found the slapstick moment rather funny, if a little unfortunate for the 20-year-old midfielder. Real Madrid are currently in the United States and will be taking on Juventus in a friendly game on the 3rd of August at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando. The Spanish giants have already faced off against Barcelona and Manchester United.
In the unintentionally funny video of the incident, Camavinga is seen in the background juggling a football with his heels. He expertly gets the ball on his front foot and lobs it away off-screen. Camavinga then lets his guard down before a stray shot from the left clatters into his face and the French international falls backward. The video is funny not only because of how unexpected it is but also the framing and Camavinga’s exaggerated reaction to the shot.

Real Madrid in a transfer dilemma
The Spanish giants have found themselves in something of a transfer dilemma after their new signing Arda Güler was sidelined with a long-term injury. The Turkish wonder kid was signed to provide cover in midfield and right wing while being allowed to hone his ability so that he could develop into a first-team regular. However, he has been hit with a significant meniscus injury that will take months to heal at best. With this, Real Madrid have been forced to consider a swoop for cover in his position if the injury is more severe than first expected or if the recovery timeline is longer.
One potential option is Bernardo Silva, who has reportedly rejected PSG and eyes a move to play in La Liga. It is thought that the Manchester City star has a strong preference for Barcelona, but with the Catalans in dire financial straits, Real Madrid might be able to turn his head with an adequate offer. This would also be interesting for Camavinga, as Bernardo Silva can cover some of the positions the Frenchman has been forced into.
Camavinga has played left back a lot for Real Madrid, though his natural position and preference lie in midfield. Bernardo Silva is a capable left-back and featured in the position for City during their game against Arsenal last season. If this move happens, it is sure to shake up the dynamics of an already electric midfield roster at Madrid.
