Renowned sports journalist has nabbed the rumors about the likely negotiations between the English club Arsenal and France striker Kylian Mbappe. The current PSG forward’s possible move to the English side was initially aired by the American popular streamer iShowSpeed but the transfer guru has now claimed them to be just whispers.
Speed, who earlier claimed that following his tenure with Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Mbappe will play for Mikel Arteta’s side, starting this summer. “Mbappe’s going to Arsenal. He’s going to Arsenal. That’s all I have to say. Mbappe’s going to Arsenal,” he had exclaimed.
Now, in a podcast, on being asked about Speed’s claims on Mbappe’s future with Arsenal, Romano replied, “I respect Speed and all the Arsenal fans, but trust me, Kylian Mbappe never even wanted to negotiate with an English club. He didn’t want to seek to negotiate or any proposal stuff from English clubs because he wanted to respect Real Madrid.”
He further added, “He already did something to Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 when they were expecting him to join the club and at the end, he decided in a couple of days, to stay in Paris Saint-Germain. It was shocking for Real Madrid. In that moment, he told that his next move is gonna be Real Madrid.”
Kylian Mbappe is set to appear in the final match in a PSG shirt as the 25-year-old chases another trophy for the side in the French Cup final against Lyon on Saturday. Earlier, last week, he played his last game at Parc des Princes, where he didn’t get the official farewell from the club but was felicitated by the fans.
