The highly-anticipated India-Pakistan game is underway and so is the thrilling action. After India opted to bowl first, the bowlers have done a fair job to keep the Pakistan batters devoid of boundaries. While veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar drew the first blood for India as he got the prized wicket of Babar Azam in his second over, Arshdeep Singh bowled tight lines and contained runs.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan found some momentum against young pacer Avesh Khan as he hit a six and a boundary in consecutive deliveries in Khan’s first over. But it was Fakhar Zaman’s amazing gesture that won the hearts of the fans. The Pakistani batter, who came after Azam departed, nicked a climbing delivery from Avesh. But with so much noise around, the bowler and keeper did not hear any sound and hence did not appeal.
However, Zaman was honest enough to start walking back to the pavilion even before the umpire could raise his finger. In fact, it seemed the umpire also got to know that Zaman had nicked the ball only when the batter started walking back.

Pakistan bowled out for 147
While Zaman won hearts with his honesty, Indian pacers impressed everyone with their disciplined bowling. They bowled out Pakistan for 147 and scripted history by taking all ten wickets. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar remained the pick of the bowlers with four wickets, Hardik Pandya was the man for India with three wickets. Arshdeep Singh (2/33) and Avesh Khan (1/19) also chipped in.
For Pakistan, it was Mohammad Rizwan yet again. The opening batter scored run-a-ball 43 before perishing to Hardik Pandya. Meanwhile, captain Babar Azam departed cheaply (10 runs off 9 balls). Iftikhar Ahmed was the second highest scorer for the Men in Green with his 28 off 22 balls. Shahnawaz Dahini also chipped in with a handy 16 off 6.
