The SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are hosting Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 18 of the IPL 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. However, it was the home skipper Pat Cummins who won the toss and invited the CSK to bat first. After some quick dismissals during the CSK inning, it was wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni, who once again walked out to bat.
However, the 42-year-old walked out to play only a few balls in the penultimate over of the CSK inning, he got a rousing reception with Dhoni….Dhoni chants echo inside the stadium. In the videos going viral on social media, the spectators cheered as the former CSK skipper walked down the aisle to the ground to take the guards after the third delivery of the final over.

Moreover, it was for the first time that MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni, and daughter Ziva Dhoni were in attendance. As the wicketkeeper-batter walked out to bat, the cameraman also panned out towards Sakshi Singh, who was also cheering for her husband.
Speaking of the match, the SRH are chasing the 166-run target with Shahbaz Ahmed and Aiden Markram in the middle during the 13th over of the SRH inning.
