Australian batter David Warner pulled off an incredible jumping catch to dismiss Sybrand Engelbrecht of the Netherlands in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Batting first Australia posted a humungous total of 399 runs with centuries by Warner and Glenn Maxwell before ripping through the Dutch batting, in the second innings, with ease.

After being reduced to 53-4 after 11 overs, Engelbrecht attempted to halt the fall of wickets with the defensive approach. The former South African youth player fended away fiery spells by Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc. Then in the 14th over, Sybrand Engelbrecht attempted to increase the scoring rate with a pull shot against Mitchell Marsh.

But unfortunately for the Dutchman, David Warner, stationed at deep square leg, leapt high in the air to complete a stunning catch. This was Warner's second highlight from the fixture as he put up 104 in 93 bal ls with the bat in the first innings.
