The Pakistan versus Bangladesh first Test, which is underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi is well poised with the hosts trailing by 94 runs on Stumps at Day 4. Although, Bangladesh are definitely in the driver’s seat as they managed to get a 117-run lead and dismiss Saim Ayub early.
What was surprising was definitely the declaration made by Pakistan, adding some problems. But in one of the videos going viral, Pakistan’s red-ball captain, Shan Masood was visibly fiery as he was seen talking with head coach, Jason Gillespie. However, several have reported that this incident took place on Day 3 of the ongoing Test, whereas several have claimed it to be after Babar Azam dropped an easy catch of well-set Mushfiqur Rahim in the 142nd over, bowled by Agha Salman.

Speaking of first Test, Bangladesh won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first on Wednesday, August 21 after a delayed start. The Shan Masood-led side scored 448 runs at the loss of six wickets and declared the innings with Mohammad Rizwan top-scoring with an unbeaten 171 off 239 deliveries. In return, the visitors put up an impressive performance as they took a lead, adding 565 runs, courtesy, Mushfiqur Rahim’s knock of 191 runs. Day the end of Day 4, the hosts trail by 94 runs with Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood in the middle, while Saim Ayub departed early.
