After ending their seven-game winning streak against the New York Knicks on Christmas Day, the Milwaukee Bucks returned to the winning ways and defeated the Brooklyn Nets by 22 points to improve their regular season record to 23-8. After the game, the Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo met Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. and gifted the Brazilian forward his shoes and signed jersey.

The two-time MVP, Giannis Antetokounpo was at his best against the Nets on Wednesday night as he registered 32 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 blocks while shooting 10-of-12 from the field in just 30 minutes. Apart from Giannis, Khris Middleton scored 27 points and made 10 assists, followed by Cameroon Payne (18), and Malik Beasley (17).
Giannis took to his official X handle and shared a video of his interaction with the 23-year-old Brazilian footballer. In the video, the Greek Freak gifted his shoes and jersey to his 'brother' Vinicius, who attended the Bucks and Nets game at the Barclays Center. While giving his shoes and jersey, Giannis said, "My Brother (Vinicius), Shoes, and wait one second. I give you a jersey, you get the whole package."

Talking about the game, the Brooklyn Nets star players including Mikal Bridges, Cam Thomas, and Royce O'Neal played up to 12 minutes against the Bucks. Jalen Wilson scored a team-high 21 points and made 10 rebounds after coming off the bench and playing 30 minutes.
The Bucks are next scheduled to travel to the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday while the Nets will travel to the Capital One Arena to face the Washington Wizards in their next 2023-24 NBA regular season fixture.
