It hasn't been an ideal start to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup for former champions Pakistan. While they were stunned by India in the first match after they dominated much of the match, but the Men in Blue came back to emerge victorious. The side then lost to Zimbabwe by 1 run in the second T20 WC fixture. Suddenly now, the Babar Azam-led side are staring at an early elimination from the world event and not only need to win their remaining games but also hope for other results to go in their favour.
For Pakistan to come good as a unit, they need to excel in all three departments and produce a clinical show. However, recent visuals from their practice session do not show encouraging scenes. In a fielding session for the Pakistan side, middle-order batter Haider Ali seemed to be having a poor outing. The right-handed batter dropped catch after catch in the session, with a few of those fairly straightforward chances.
Notably, Haider has only managed scores of 2 and 0 in the 2 innings so far this tournament. While he could be under pressure to come good with the bat if he gets his chance against the Netherlands, the captain and the management won't be pleased to see his fielding in this session as well.
