In match 47 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are hosting Delhi Capitals (DC) in a reverse fixture at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Earlier in the match, it was DC captain Rishabh Pant who came out on top in the toss war and elected to bat first.
Brilliant bowling from KKR helped them to dismiss the openers early in the inning. While a caught and bowled from Vaibhav Arora and Phil Salt helped Prithvi Shaw depart at the score of 13, Jake Fraser-McGurk also had a short stay in the middle. Soon after the conclusion of the powerplay, Harshit Rana dismissed Abishek Porel, who was looking good in the middle. On the fourth ball of the seventh over, Rana made a mess of the batter and clean bowled Porel at the score of 18.
What followed was a furious send-off from the KKR pacer. After dismissing Porel, Rana pointed the batter towards the dressing room. However, Rana was about to blow a kiss but just held back. Earlier, Rana was fined after he blew a kiss after dismissing Mayank Agarwal in match against SRH.

Speaking of the match, at the end of seven overs, the DC scorecard read 68/4 with Axar Patel (0) and Rishabh Pant (14) in the middle.
