Ever since the Kolkata Knight Riders won their third Indian Premier League title after beating the SunRisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024, KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir has been making headlines. Recently, Rana appeared in 'Unplugged' a Shubhankar Mishra's podcast, and talked about KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir's sacrifices in KKR's championship run. While asked about Gambhir's impact, Rana said, "Gauti bhaiya (Gautam Gambhir) left his things to return to KKR. He left politics for KKR. He worked really hard to help KKR win the championship."
