The Indian cricket team has been the best performing squad in the 2022 Asia Cup as they remain undefeated through the group stage of the tournament. The Men in Blue kicked off their campaign with a thrilling victory over arch-rivals Pakistan after chasing down the lofty 148-run total on the back of Hardik Pandya’s stellar all-round performance.
Similarly, India carried this form into their second game against Hong Kong where Dubai was hit by a storm called Suryakumar Yadav as he smashed 68 in just 26 balls and took the total to 192. The Men in Blue then cruised through the second innings as they registered a 40-run victory.
But after two intense games of high-quality cricket, Rohit Sharma and Co. were given a day off by coach Rahul Dravid as the team enjoyed some downtime on the beach. In a video uploaded by the BCCI Twitter handle, Indian players took a break from cricket and indulged in some water sports before the Super Four stage.

Time for some surf, sand & beach volley! 😎#AsiaCup2022 pic.twitter.com/cm3znX7Ll4
Spinners Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were seen riding a water cycle, while senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were enjoying a relaxed kayak ride. Similarly, KL Rahul, Arshdeep Singh, Deepak Hooda and a few others were trying their hand at paddle surfing.
The team was also seen participating in an intra-squad Top-gun style beach volley match as Rahul Dravid with other coaches unwinded on the adjacent patio. As the Indian team recharges their batteries for the Super Four stage, they will find out about their opponent tonight as Pakistan faces Hong Kong in a knockout game in Group B.
