Cricket fans in Ahmedabad carried a 500-feet long tricolour along with a miniature version of the trophy ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023 final. The final clash of the tournament is slated to be hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the 2023 hosts, India, will lock horns with five-time champions Australia for the coveted title.

With less than 24 hours before the big game, the excitement among Indian fans is at its peak. In their unique way of wishing the Indian team for the match, a group of fans carried a 500-foot long tricolour along with the miniature shining trophy, which both the teams will clash for. The video of the same has gone viral on social media and has been reshared several times by fans. 

Speaking of the final, the match will be preceded by a grand and spectacular air show by the Indian Air Force’s acrobatic team, Suryakiran. Not only this, but more than one lakh fans will witness the live cricketing action at the largest cricket stadium. Several celebrities including Indian and Australian Prime Ministers are also expected to be at the stadium for the big game. 

In addition, a report by Deccan Herald suggests that the ICC and BCCI will reportedly felicitate the previous World Cup-winning captains ahead of the match. If the reports are to be believed, names including Kapil Dev, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Clive Lloyd, Kapi Dev, Allan Border, Arjuna Ranatunga, Steve Waugh, and Ricky Ponting are expected to land up for the same.
